ShamRockersUSA, Inc., I acknowledge and agree to the fact that this is a “Hands On” position ~ a) I am able to run with the members every Saturday morning and at all races; b) I agree to a Criminal Background Check; c) I understand the basics of nutrition and healthy eating; d) I understand the basics of the run/walk method of running a marathon; e) I have a safe, reliable and insured car; f) I have a good computer and a good understanding of websites, emails, Word and Excel and most Social Media programs; f) I have a good understanding of the mechanics of both road and triathlon races; g) if I am not a Certified Coach through a nationally recognized organization at the time of this application, I agree to become one within one (1) year after acceptance into the ShamRockersUSA program at my own expense; h) I love to travel and have an active passport; i) I am creative! Most importantly, I acknowledge that I am undertaking a position of a Coach and a Role Model for young kids and teens (“Team Members”); that I will uphold a lifestyle that is in direct proportion to the lofty position as a Youth Fitness Coach with ShamRockersUSA, Inc.; that I will be seeking and encouraging young adults to run long distances in a safe and healthy manner; that I will be responsible to make running long distances fun and exciting; that I will be responsible for their safety whilst they are under my supervision and that under no circumstances whatsoever would I ever create a situation wherein a Team Member would ever be put in harm’s way; that I agree “No Child Shall Be Declined”.
